GOOGLE CHROMECAST

It’s been a few months since we installed our first Google Chromecast unit, a digital media player that comes in the form of an HDMI stick that you simply plug into your TV. Other than the fact that it needs an occasional reboot, this is one great little device. Chromecast can transfer anything you are viewing in your Chrome browser directly to your TV. The setup takes about two minutes and an easy mobile app allows you to control the device from your phone or tablet. It also comes pre-loaded with Netflix and Pandora. Our personal favorite is YouTube. At our last office party we used Chromecast as our virtual DJ–taking turns playing our favorite videos. In short, Chromecast is the easiest way we have yet seen in bridging our favorite online content to the TV, and a great value for $35. We give it an enthusiastic thumbs-up.
